Coil Cleaning
Are Your Facility's Coils Actually Clean?
Coil cleaning is fundamental to efficient HVAC/R equipment operation—owners, manufacturers, service companies, and consultants in the HVAC/R industry all agree that coil cleaning should be performed periodically. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon to find coils in poor condition even though they have been cleaned regularly. The problem is generally not due to poor workmanship, but rather to the ineffective cleaning process commonly used. Filtrex was created to address the shortcomings of most existing coil cleaning processes.
Filtrex has developed and refined procedures that not only effectively and efficiently clean coils, but also that verify that the job is done correctly the first time. Filtrex utilizes power washers and cleaners specific to the type of condenser or evaporator coil being cleaned. Special attention is given to split coil units to separate the coils to insure complete obstruction removal. Extreme care is taken when power washing the evaporator coils to eliminate any water damage to the facility. The cleaning process continues until the leaving water is clear—we make sure all coils are thoroughly clean!
Dirty Coils Cause More Problems Than You Think
